Welcome to the UNE Vietnamese Students Association

The Vietnamese Student Association (VSA) at UNE is dedicated to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and vibrant community for Vietnamese students, staff at UNE and anyone with an interest in Vietnamese culture. Through various cultural, academic, and social initiatives, VSA aims to enrich the university experience by promoting cultural exchange, personal growth, and community connection.

Our Mission

1. Support Vietnamese students in adapting to and thriving academically and socially while studying at UNE.

2. Promote Vietnamese culture, traditions, and values within the broader university community.

3. Build a strong and lasting network between students, alumni, and professionals to foster collaboration and mentorship.

What We Do – Our Activities

• Cultural Events
  Celebrate traditional Vietnamese festivals, such as the Tet Holiday (Lunar New Year), Mid-Autumn Festival, and Vietnamese Independence Day, to bring a taste of home to campus.

• Workshops
  Host sessions on academic skills, career development, and personal growth to support student success and well-being.

• Social Gatherings
  Organize regular meetups, picnics, and sports activities to strengthen friendships and community bonds.

• Community Engagement
  Take part in charity drives, cultural exhibitions, and joint events with other student groups to foster diversity and civic responsibility.

• Networking Opportunities
  Connect students with alumni and professionals across various industries to support future careers and meaningful mentorship.
